The Master Series Palette
Monday, 19 March 2018
The Blank Canvas Cosmetics Master Series palette is full of 12 warm toned shades, I love the pink shades as they really bring out blue eyes! I've been trying it out for a while now and I've been playing around with the colours, creating new eye looks. I love how there's a very pale shade for highlighting but also a black/dark shade which I would use as eyeliner and slightly smudge. The brush that comes with it is really good too, one side is dense, perfect for pressing product onto the eye for more pigment. The other end is good for blending.
First Impressions: Juvia's Place
Wednesday, 2 August 2017

Beauty Bay have recently began to stock Juvia's Place, which is a cruelty free brand I've been dying to try! I loved the look of their palettes, from the packaging to the shades themselves. I was torn between the Masquerade palette and the Saharan Palette as I loved the shades in those compared to the others. In the end, I went for the masquerade palette which has a nice mixture of bright colours and natural/warm shades. I don't own any decent palettes with bright colours, so I think this palette is the perfect way for me to try something different whilst also getting some shades that are more wearable. I think Juvia's Place palettes are ones that you use alongside others, it's sort of an assortment of amazing and different shades compared to my natural mattes.

Top 5 Liquid Lipsticks
Sunday, 16 July 2017
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick: Kat Von D's formula is my absolute favourite, it's long lasting and has the perfect pigmentation. I have the shades Bow n Arrow and Double Dare which have become daily essentials for me. My favourite is Bow n Arrow, a nude that pretty much goes with any eye look. I can't wait to try out some more shades as I am truly obsessed!
Skin care products I've been loving

MARIO BADESCU Silver Powder: Not only does this powder reduce the appearance of blackheads, it appears to unclog them and reduce redness. My skin looks brighter and clearer right after use. It's pretty easy to use, you just have to add water to create a paste and then apply where desired. I only use this once or twice a month so it lasts a long time which makes the price worth it!
Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette Review

VIOLET VOSS HOLY GRAIL PRO PALETTE £43
This palette has become my holy grail! It has a lot more warmer tones than my other palettes have, so it's been fun experimenting with shades I'm not used to. Violet Voss has probably created my favourite formula too as they have the perfect amount of pigment and are really easy to blend. I love how the entire palette works together, you could easily match any colours. I haven't tried them without an eyeshadow primer, but with one they last the entire time wearing the shadow. I initially bought this as I wanted some different shades for nights out and this palette had a great selection of mattes, satins and metals. It's a great size and the huge mirror inside is really handy. There was a moment where I was contemplating between this palette and the Modern Renaissance palette by ABH, but this one is better value as it comes with more shades and has more product in the pans. There are 20 shades, each pan holding 1.8 grams of product.
